Richard Cady is a native Northwest artist. His paintings are highly detailed and realistic, the images depict wildlife in their natural habitat. Each scene make you feel as though the subjects looms off the surface of the canvas. Each or Richard compositions take many months to complete.Richard started painting and drawing at the age of 8 years old. He continued his art studies in the academic level but soon found he could achieve more by studying on his own. Twenty eight years ago, he started to apply black and white medias to modern printing technology. His studies included pen, pencil, ink wash and acrylics, as he started in acrylics began with one color study with black and white, then expanding to full color.
